My Desk for NaNoWriMo

Friday, October 31, 2014

It's October 31st!! Which means that tomorrow is...(drumroll, please...) November 1st!! In preparation for NaNoWriMo, I cleaned off my desk. Needless to say, it's the best it has looked in a long time.

Here are a few pictures of my desk for this month.

 (My cute little desk...)

(I use my iPad & a keyboard attachment for practically everything, including my writing. I downloaded the Microsoft Word app & I can share the file to any computer.)

(My pencil jar... Look at my cute little Dalek pencil topper!!)

(My special Jane Austen Novel Journal... Just in case I need to take notes.)

(My addiction... Coke Zero. I love this stuff too much.)

(My Piano Guys tunes... They are the best!!)

Well, there you go!! This is my little setup for writing. I cannot wait for November to start!!! :)

  2. Your desk is so cute! I love it! You're super brave to write on your iPad. I have a Microsoft Surface with a keyboard attachment and I love it, but I don't think I could write 50 000 words on it!

    Good luck with NaNo!

    1. Awe... Thanks, Sunny! Haha!! Well, when my laptop screen sorta-kinda-shattered I didn't really have a choice. lol! Just kidding, we have other laptops in the house, but I wanted something that was mine & I could take everywhere! (Still waiting on my laptop to be fixed, though...) Same to you!! I am doing a bad job so far. Barely 400 words!!! O-o
Life gets in the way of writing too easily. :)

  3. You look so organised! YAY. I sort of kind of cleaned off my desk.... >.> I always write on my bed, actually, which is probably bad for my back and stuff, but it's comfy. I've really surprised myself with how much writing I've been doing at my desk, actually! I only abandoned it for my bed today because I was cold (it's supposed to be summer where I live!! what even) and I curled under my blankets as I wrote. XD FUN FUN. I hope you do well with NaNo!
Thanks for stopping by @ Notebook Sisters!

    1. Hi, Cait!! LOL! You should see what the rest of my room looks like... XD
My bed is actually right next to my desk, so I usually am slumped over anyway!!
Yeah, the weather is getting chilly over here... Autumn is my favorite ever!!! Cozy hoodies and fuzzy socks rock!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by... Great to have you!! <3

  4. Your keyboard is SO adorable! I love it. :)
My writing corner can't stay that neat... Mostly because I pile it with other junk and then choose to write on the couch instead. :P Oh well. Someday I might succeed in keeping it perfect. ;)
Your blog is awesome! I'm a Christian, writing, teen as well, and am looking forward to new posts. )

    1. Hi there, Katie!! Nice to meet ya! I feel you there... But it's usually too loud in the livingroom for me. I retreat to my "Hobbit Hole" (my mother's name for my room) to write... And it is FAR from perfect!! I'm examining LEGOs, deoderant, jewlrey, hair clip, and other things that have already acumulated... CLEANING TIME!!! Lol!
I will certainly check out your blog. I bet it's awesome!! <3

    2. Hi! *grins*
Yeah... I get that. I prefer to listen to music when I write, so that helps cut out the noise. (But then there is always the hardship of not hearing people when they say something... *sigh*)
Heh. You can always tell when I'm busy with a project. Those are the times where my room gets littered with clothing, papers, books, etc. NaNoWriMo isn't helping. :)
I think that is every blogger's goal, but that is for the readers to decide. ;)

I love comments. Seriously, I love them! Feel free to discuss the post, ask questions, leave a link to your blog, or just make a passing remark about books & coffee...

(But PLEASE keep your comments kind & positive. Advice is fine, but meanness is not. Be sweet like chocolate & loving like Jesus and we will get along splendidly!)
